Achievements

1.) After the grand success of the 1st edition of Indian Power Brands in London UK, Planman Media took up the 2nd edition of Indian Power Brands to Las Vegas – USA this June. ICMR has conducted an extensive research pan India across various industries based on the consumption patterns of the companies over the years. The survey was conducted in different stages.
Stage 1 : Out of the preliminary survey of 10,000 companies across India under 40 different categories and 92 sub-categories, 3000 were short-listed based on the reach, availability, demand and growth.
Stage 2 : The top 1000 companies were subjected to a survey based on the prescribed parameters. ICMR survey 10,000 consumers across 22 cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh – to name a few).
Stage 3 : The list of top 100 companies were shortlisted after the research, based on the following parameters.


2.) Johnson Grammar School ICSE, Habsiguda proudly shares its moment of glory with everyone. It is delighted to inform that it has been accorded with a score of 95% and was awarded a GREEN rating in the Global HSS Audit, a Pearson initiative, conducted by a renowned and well acclaimed group. On 21.08.2017, the Global Audit of the school was done by Mr. Dave Stevenson, the Director of Workplace Services and Health and Safety for Burberry plc. His role covers 11,000 employees, Corporate (Campus Headquarters and 25 other global office sites), 560 Retail sites, all construction related activity, events and fashion shows, internal manufacturing and 10 distribution sites in 45 countries across EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas. He holds a Masters degree in Health and Safety Management and is a Chartered member of IOSH. The Junior School at Habsiguda was witness to sustained untiring efforts of all concerned, well guided and well driven by the Administrator Dr. Chandrasekhar, the Dean Mrs. Saraswathi Rao and the Headmistress Mrs. Poonam Agrawal. The school was audited to assess how safe its environment is. Additionally, it was rated in terms of infrastructure, risk assessment and best practices too. The co-ordinated mammoth effort of staff and the management has proved yet again that fruits of hard work are the sweetest. JGS expresses its gratitude to all the persons concerned.

Johnson Grammar School, ICSE,takes pride in announcing its victory of being ranked Telangana’s and Hyderabad’s top 5 in the Annual Education World India School Rankings-2017 survey conducted in association with C fore, Delhi. Education World in association with C fore, Delhi conducted the survey in 27 cities and education hubs across India to rate the country's top 1000 schools. Over the past four months, 140 C fore field personnel interviewed thousands of parents, hundreds of principals, teachers and senior school students in 28 cities countrywide, and persuaded them to rate schools in their region on a ten-point scale across 14 parameters of educational excellence. JGS with its profuse epitomizing strength, ingenuity, foresight for the growth of educational excellence with vision and inspiration, celebrates its spectacular contribution towards exceptional quality, innovative initiatives and exemplary work in the Education Sector.


4.) Johnson Grammar School, ICSE beat St.Joseph Public School, King Koti in the Basketball tournament conducted by XXVI Andhra Pradesh & Telangana Regionl ICSE & ISC School Sports Meet 2017 with a score of 42 to 32 points [Senior Boys Category]

The students also bagged the Overall Championship Trophy in Athletics in the Senior Boys category with 51 points. Master Hrishi Agasthya won the Individual Championship Trophy with 20 points in the Senior Boys category.

The school won 29 Gold medals, 17 Silver medals & 32 Bronze medals in Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Cricket, Lawn Tennis & Swimming.
